Jesus is Practical: Anger

Anger is one of the most powerful human emotions!  It has the power to consume us if we let it, but that’s not the whole story.  Everyone deals with anger at some point.  For some, it is the dominant emotional drive through their lives.  If we are honest with ourselves, we all have become angry in many ways every day.  It’s not IF we get angry, but WHEN.

So what do we do with anger?  Is it evil?  What purpose does it serve?  Does God get angry?  If He does, how does he handle and use it?  Perhaps Anger has a good side too.  Jesus got angry yet did not sin, so it has a place.  But what place does it have for us?  How can we use it to benefit the kingdom of God and others?

In this sermon, we examine God’s purpose and plan for our anger and perhaps review it’s use in how it is used in opposition to how the world views and uses it!

Please listen and learn with us as we investigate the proper use of Anger.

Talk given on 3/23/10.
